Motor Manufacturing Supervisor

Following is a list of duties and responsibilities for this position –

Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble industrial equipment including small ac/dc motors. Build sample motors prior to production. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities. Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action and control. Analyze workflow, work methods and layouts to improve efficiency. Develop and execute plan for installation and implementation of equipment. Troubleshoot and debug equipment, working closely with the production team. Manage international production team, including 5-10 Motor Line Operators. Analyze requirements and prepare parameters and justification for purchasing equipment. Obtain quotes from vendors and prepare capital requests for submission. Review cost structure to discover financial inefficiencies and recommend changes to improve profitability.

This position requires 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of related manufacturing supervision experience. This is a full-time position with an annual salary or approximately $65,000-$70,000.
